Shine-a-light

The necklaces of Shine a Light grow in an organic way. Arianne doesn't use fixed patterns or methods. A beautiful gemstone could be the starting point, but it might just as well be a painting, a certain mood, a piece of music or a special garment. From that initial inspiration Arianne sets to work. Intuition is an important part in the process, as the jewel is built up piece by piece, until color scheme, materials and model together culminate in a coherent whole. That's why every item is unique, with it's very own character. Arianne finds inspiration in nature and its different seasons. She uses natural materials as wood, shells, clay and gemstones, with their amazingly beautiful colors and forms.
